I'm Lester, founder and CEO of VALT, based in the Bay Area, where we run VALT with a small team. Around five years ago, I got deep into health wearables to improve my health. While testing just about every major one out there, I started wanting to understand what these things were actually capable of and where they kept falling short. After years of research, this is what I found:
The industry evolved in three generations. First, devices started outputting raw health data but nobody could make sense of it. Then, some newer brands (certain fitness bands and smart rings), and some third-party apps turned that data into something readable: clean dashboards, daily scores, decent visualizations. Useful, but still just a prettier version of what the wearable already told you.
VALT is the third generation. You connect whatever devices and health sources you already use — your wearable, your health apps, your medical data — and we unify it on your terms. No lock-in, no mandated hardware. We took the best design principles from the second generation and built on top of them, but VALT carries more depth and more intelligence than anything else on the market. By a wide margin. Then we go beyond what any wearable explicitly gives you: predictions, anomalies, early signals of disease onset, biological aging, and performance decline, surfaced through AI we’re building alongside clinical research.
What we track matters as much as how we track it. The wearable industry has historically chased the most profitable demographics and left everyone else behind. Women’s health, respiratory conditions like asthma, chronic conditions that don’t fit neatly into a rebound score — these are real, they affect millions of people, and they’ve been chronically underinvested in. We’re deliberately building for those gaps.
We also recognize that everyone has their own needs. You may not want to fill out a journal every day, connect a smart scale, prompt AI, or log your nutrition. The VALT system will adjust to the information that you choose to provide.
The name is the mission. VALT stands for Vitals, Anomaly and Aging, Lifestyle, Technology. VALT is also a vault of every signal your body has ever produced sitting locked inside devices and apps that were never built to talk to each other.
We’re a small team, still building, still learning. We know what’s been missing in this space and we’re not stopping until it fully exists. We invite you to try VALT and tell us what you think. We read everything, we iterate constantly, and we’re willing to take risks to build something genuinely better.

VALT is built to move personal health software beyond dashboards. We focus on detecting shifts early, surfacing patterns that matter, and helping users act before issues compound.
We translate fragmented wellness data into trend signals and plain-language context for personal awareness and better conversations with qualified professionals, coaches, families, and care teams.
Wearables, nutrition, glucose, body composition, lifestyle, and environment belong in one system. VALT unifies them into a single intelligence layer.
